The drug-fuelled mayhem on display here always seems remote, distant and not quite as chaotic as it should be - after all, this is a movie where a black bear snorts mountains of cocaine and eats a significant number of people. Nevertheless, Cocaine Bear is still a perfectly acceptable time in the theatre. 

This taut thriller eschews a lot of the more violent tropes in favor of its intriguing premise, but wraps everything in a religious gauze that feels odd and, at times, contrived.

Spoiler Alert is one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking romances you will ever see, and is a must see for anyone interested in having a real experience in the cinema. 

True Spirit nails the ‘true’, but lacks the ‘spirit’ to make its viewing anything other than inoffensive time passing.

The Fabelmans is perfectly fine, and there are some nice moments. But for the most part, this is a middling family drama piece that does little to stand apart from a crowded field. The Oscar buzz is baffling, and frankly wouldn’t exist without the director’s name attached to the piece.

Guy Ritchie delivers a blast of a time in the theater, in this not very good, but super fun, action heist.

Fun and frivolous, this kids film alternates between enjoyable fever dream and barely comprehensible tenancy drama. 

A flawless animated spectacle, that brings heart, pathos and imagination to a film that could have been dull and boring.

Against all odds, James Cameron does it again; Avatar: Way of Water delivers an absolutely boundary pushing, stunning visual landscape that blows your mind.
